Kathmandu, February 13. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is ready to launch Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C52) from Andhra Pradesh’s Sriharikota at 5 am on February 14.
The mission had been postponed due to the pandemic, which was earlier scheduled to be launched in the third quarter of 2021. The mission will also be the first for new ISRO chief S Somanath.
If the satellite launch becomes successful, it would be a beneficial for the agency as the last mission in August last year failed due to a technical error.
The mission is expected to last for 33.5 minutes and 529 kms far from the earth’s surface.
Live telecast of the launch begins at 05:30 hours IST on February 14, 2022.
