Pakistan PM Imran Khan says he wants to have TV debate with Indian PM Modi to sort out differences
Kathmandu, February 22. Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan has said that he would like to have a TV debate with Indian counterpart Narendra Modi to resolve differences existing between the two countries.
He made the comment during an interview on Russia’s state run television RT. In an answer to a question, he replied, “I would love to debate with Narendra Modi on TV”.
He is on a two day visit to Russia to discuss views on major regional and international issues. He said that as soon as he came into power, he proposed India to sit for a table talk for Kashmir issue, but regrets that India responded negatively.
While reacting to the Russia-Ukraine issue, he said that the issue must be resolved in a peaceful manner. He further added that he is not a believer of military conflicts and that modern societies solve problems through dialogue.
