Rajbiraj distributes Rs 5100 compensatory monthly allowance to 300 Martyrs families

Kathmandu, December 17. The municipal corporation of Rajbiraj in Saptari district has started distributing monthly allowances to martyrs’ families.
The municipal assembly took the decision to provide Rs 5100 to the families of the people who lost their lives during various movements in the past decades.
Acting Mayor Isarat Parbin told reporters that the municipal corporation has been providing a monthly allowance to 300 martyr families since the beginning of the current fiscal year 2022/23.
“In order to get the monthly allowance, the family member needs to submit a martyrs certificate, citizenship copy, and a recommendation letter from the local ward office,” Chief administrator Binaya Kumar Sonu said.
