Israeli ambassador holds productive meeting with Nepali parliamentarian Ek Nath Dhakal
Kathmandu, June 21. The Israeli Ambassador to Nepal H.E. Hanan Goder has visited MP Ek Nath Dhakal, who is in the International Relations and Tourism Committee of the House of Representatives.
While speaking at the meeting held at the secretariat of MP Dhakal, Ambassador Hanan Goder stated that the bilateral relations between Nepal and Israel are good, and we should aim to “further strengthen our multilateral relations.” He further continued that it would be appropriate for the Nepali government “to create a tourism-friendly environment to facilitate the expansion of tourism in Nepal”
Parliamentarian Dhakal appreciated the continuous contribution made by Israel in the fields of agriculture, education, technology, and water resources since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Israel in 1960. He requested Ambassador Hanan to support the further development of tourism in Nepal.
Dhakal also emphasized the importance of attention to the welfare of Nepalis living in Israel. Additionally, MP Dhakal highlighted the need for a lively exchange between the parliamentarians of Nepal and Israel.
