Significant Progress in Muglin-Pokhara Road Expansion Project’s Eastern Section
Damauli, Dec 8: The eastern segment of the Muglin-Pokhara road expansion project, aimed at widening the Prithvi Highway to four lanes, has achieved an impressive 42 percent progress. This development is particularly notable in the road section spanning from Anbukhaireni to Jamune in Tanahun.
Engineer Bishnu Prasad Pandey, overseeing the project’s eastern section, provided updates, mentioning that the blacktopping process has commenced on the expanded road. Currently, one-way blacktopping has been completed on a nine-kilometer stretch out of the total 41.5 kilometers. Additionally, the blacktopping of an additional five kilometers started on Wednesday.
The ongoing blacktopping extends from Anbukhaireni Rural Municipality-3, Gaunpalika Chowk to Markichowk, with the completion of 3.5 kilometers from Anbukhaireni-1 Satrashaya to Markichowk reported earlier.
Project sources indicate that the blacktopping work is progressing efficiently, and there are expectations to complete the task within the next 15 days.
