Everest Taekwondo Association Michigan’s Athlete to Participate in World Taekwondo Junior Championship

North America, Sept 30: The 2024 World Taekwondo Junior Championship will be held from October 1 to 6 in Chuncheon, South Korea. Athletes in both male and female divisions across 10 weight categories will compete in this prestigious event.

Victoria Chernolutsky from Everest Taekwondo Association Michigan will be participating in the 49 kg weight category. The competition promises intense competition, as young athletes from around the globe aim to showcase their skills on the world stage.

Meanwhile, in 2024, Leslie Daniel won a gold medal in the Junior 68 Women’s Pan Am Junior Championship held in Mexico. Leslie, who has been a member of the United States of America Taekwondo National Team twice in 2023 and 2024, delivered impressive performances in international Taekwondo competitions.

At the 2023 Cadet World Championship held in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lithuanian Cadet National Team athlete Kamil Blazevicius represented his country under the guidance of coach Anmol Gorkhali. Anmol, who holds a WT Kyorugi Coach License Level 2, played a key role in preparing Kamil for the competition.

Brothers Amul and Anmol Gorkhali, originally from Nepal, have been running Everest Taekwondo Association in Michigan since 2011. Their father Mr. Love Prasad Gorkhali served Nepal Taekwondo for many years as a senior Taekwondo coach at the National Sports Council of Nepal. Amul, who holds a WT Kyorugi Coach License Level 1, runs the Taekwondo school in the U.S. alongside his brother.
