Kathmandu, Feb 23: The much-anticipated ICC Champions Trophy match between India and Pakistan will take place today at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The match will begin at 2:45 PM Nepali time.

India started their campaign with a win over Bangladesh, while Pakistan is under pressure after losing to New Zealand. A victory today would secure India’s spot in the semi-finals, while Pakistan must win to stay in contention.

The two teams last faced each other in the T20 World Cup in June. In ODIs, they have played 135 matches, with Pakistan winning 73 and India securing 57 victories. Their last ICC Champions Trophy encounter was in the 2017 final, where Pakistan defeated India.

The game will feature key battles, including India’s Rohit Sharma against Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi and Virat Kohli’s contest with leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed. Additionally, Pakistan captain Babar Azam will be up against India’s pace bowler Mohammad Shami, who took five wickets against Bangladesh in his previous match.
