Kathmandu, March 16: The Trump administration is reportedly considering travel bans for citizens of 41 countries, as revealed by a confidential memorandum cited by Reuters.

The countries are divided into three groups:

  1. Complete Visa Ban: Includes Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Cuba, North Korea, and other nations.
  2. Partial Suspension: Affecting tourist, student, and immigrant visas for Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Myanmar, and South Sudan.
  3. Potential Partial Ban: Includes Belarus, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, and 23 other countries.

If these nations fail to address security concerns within 60 days, the U.S. will implement the restrictions. However, a U.S. official stated that the list is subject to change and awaits approval from the administration and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
