5 dead in an accident in Udayapur

Kathmandu. Five people were killed in an accident in Katari Municipality-14 in Udayapur. They were travelling in a Scorpio car to reach their home to celebrate Dashain. Three people were injured as a result when the vehicle was traveling from Bhairahawa to Okhaldhunga.
According to the District Police Information Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ved Prasad Gautam, the vehicle skidded 100 meters down from Bhadaure Bhir. The vehicle numbered ‘ba 20 cha 7171’ fell off the cliff at 1 a.m. on Sunday. Primary investigations reveal that they were returning to Nepal from India for the festive season.
