Working towards making differently abled people self-reliant: Minister Lila Nath Shrestha
Siraha. The Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Lila Nath Shrestha has stated that his ministry is working towards making differently abled people self-reliant.
Minister Shrestha further commented that his ministry is making concrete plans for differently abled individuals and dependent women, children and people of old age, to enable them to live an independent life, where they can earn for their own livelihoods. He revealed the news while laying the foundation stone for a 15-bed hospital building, and a Seva Sadan (service centre) for the needy at the Golbazar Municipality-15 in Siraha.
Golbazar businessmen Kedar Shrestha, Hiralal Shrestha, Moti Shrestha, Jawaharlal Shrestha and Dr. Vishnu Shrestha were felicitated at the ceremony, as they donated their lands to build the hospital and help the centre. The Shrestha brothers donated lands of 15 kathha 10 dhur for the hospital, and 7 kathha and 10 dhur for the needy and old age centre in the name of their parents, Shivanath and Santamaya Shrestha.
