RPP unveils its flag and election symbol
Makwanpur. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chair Kamal Thapa made public the party’s flag and election symbol –a wooden plough- at Makwanpur today. Earlier, the party had cow as its electoral symbol.
Addressing a program organized by the RPP, Makawanpur chapter in Makawanpur on Thursday, Chair Thapa blamed that the political parties in the country were securing their interest rather than taking into account the national interest.
The former Minister asserted that the changes should be made through the popular mandate within the structures of the Constitution, rather than through the street mob.
On the occasion, RPP central members Bijaya Khadka and Rajaram Bartaula accused the incumbent government of failing to introduce effective laws to stem the growing cases of violence in the country.
