China Strongly Opposes New US Tariffs, Vows Countermeasures
Beijing, Feb 2: China has strongly condemned new tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump, vowing to take countermeasures to protect its interests. On Saturday, Trump announced an additional 10% tariff on Chinese imports, escalating trade tensions. In response, China’s commerce ministry criticized Washington’s actions as “wrong practices” and expressed “extreme dissatisfaction and strong opposition.”
