Pakistan Confirms 48-Hour Ceasefire at Taliban’s Request
Kathmandu, Oct 16: Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry has confirmed a 48-hour ceasefire following a request from the Taliban’s interim government. According to BBC Urdu, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid also verified the ceasefire agreement. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry stated that the ceasefire took effect at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, with the Taliban urging both sides to hold talks
