Nepal elects Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav as new vice president

Kathmandu, March 17. Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav of the Janata Samajwadi Party (People’s Socialist Party) has been elected as Nepal’s new vice-president. In the vice-presidential election held today inside the International Conference Centre in Kathmandu, Yadav received 30,328 votes and became the third vice-president of the country.
