Human Rights Commission wants no protection for individuals who discriminate on the basis of caste.
Kathmandu, June 30. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has demanded that those guilty of caste-based discrimination and untouchability receive no protection. The rights organization has asked the government to treat cases of caste-based discrimination and untouchability with respect, to bring perpetrators under the law through fair and efficient prosecution, and to defend victims’ rights
