600-year-old statue disappears from Balkumari Temple, Lalitpur
Kathmandu, January 23. The 600-year-old Lichhavi era statue of the Balkumari Temple has been stolen. On Sunday morning, the locals discovered that the statue went missing. Shortly after, a team of Nepal Police reached the temple premise. The police confirmed that the statue was lifted by breaching four gates and cutting nine padlocks. Lalitpur Chief
