CAN request to submit classification report with suggestions

The Cricket Association of Nepal(CAN) has requested the Player Classification Determination Committee to submit a classification report with recommendations. Earlier on September 22, the Player Classification Determination Committee had categorized 18 male and 19 female players into different categories.
However, after criticisms came from the players themselves, the cricket analysts also chimed in that there were some errors in the classification. The CAN on Thursday, thenceforth, released a statement. It mentioned that the names of some of the key players have been omitted and the classification had not been fair. CAN has now requested the committee hold discussions with captains, vice-captains and coaches of the women’s and men’s teams, and submit a report with recommendations for the reclassification at the next board meeting.
