Kathmandu. A meeting has been held between Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Vice Chair Bamdev Gautam. The meeting was held at the prime minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Wednesday morning as expressed by Vice Chair Gautam’s Press Advisor Bishwamani Subedi.

Sources mention that Prime Minister Oli had called Gautam to Baluwatar where they discussed about the reorganization of the Council of Ministers. After being nominated in the National Assembly, Vice Chair Gautam has expressed his desire to join the government. The Supreme Court has barred Gautam from joining the government immediately and his case is being heard in the Constitutional Court.

Although Gautam’s case was to be heard today, the Supreme Court is conducting single sessions only since the judges were infected with the virus.
