Kathmandu, January 19: A couple was found dead at Mahalaxmi Municipality-7, Changathali in Lalitpur on Monday. The deceased have been identified as 32-year-old Sagar Pokhrel, from Rajbiraj and his 22-year-old wife Nirmala Pokharel.
Lalitpur Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, Superintendent of Police Prajwal Maharjan informed DC Nepal that the bodies were found lying on the ground inside a locked room covered on vomits. A bottle of named “Sulphur” was also collected from the site.
According to the Maharjan, a poison bottle found on the spot shows that the incident might be suicide and further investigation is going on.
“The cause of dead is not confirmed yet, and the dead bodies are being prepared for postmortem” said Mahajan.
