Former King and Queen’s birthday dance, video goes VIRAL
Kathmandu, February 21. The former royal family of Nepal on Friday gathered to celebrate the 70th birthday of Nepal’s last queen Komal Shah.
The event organized at the Mechi Crown Hotel in Jhapa was attended by former monarch Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah along with son Paras Shah, daughter-in-law Himani Shah and the entire Shah family.
While celebrating, the former king and queen had danced together. The video of the dance has created waves on the internet. Thousands of Nepalis from all over the world have showered the couple with heartfelt wishes and love. In the video, close kins were seen cheering up the couple with a band of young musicians who played the background music.
Ex- Queen Komal, the daughter of Kendra Shumsher Jang Bahadur Rana and his wife Shree Rajya Lakshmi Devi Shah, was born on 18th February 1951 in Kathmandu.
