Kathmandu, April 29.  Nepal Airlines’ wide-body A-330 aircraft on Thursday successfully conducted an ‘operational performance test landing’ at Nepal’s second international airport, Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa.

Carrying 260 members on board, the national flag carrier took off from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) at 5.12 pm. After 44 minutes, the plane became the first widebody craft to land on the newly built runway. The landing was celebrated by a big water fountain.
