Shrivastava appointed Indian ambassador to Nepal

Kathmandu, May 17. Naveen Shrivastava has been appointed Ambassador of India to Nepal on Tuesday.

Shrivastava is currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs of India. Further, according to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, he is expected to take up the assignment shortly.

Srivastava had entered the Indian Foreign Service in 1993.

His predecessor, Vinay Kwatra ended his term in April after he was appointed as foreign secretary.
