Ukrainian President Asserts Confidence in Winning War Against Russia

Kathmandu, Feb 27: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has delivered a resolute message, expressing firm belief in his country’s ability to emerge victorious in the ongoing conflict with Russia. Addressing the public in the capital city of Kyiv, Zelensky declared that Ukraine will triumph over Russia, even as the war enters its second year.

“We will not allow anyone to destroy Ukraine,” asserted Zelensky, standing alongside leaders from several western nations.

According to reports from Reuters, Zelensky emphasized the need for Ukraine and its allies to work towards reclaiming Crimea, which was annexed by Russia a decade ago. The President’s remarks come in the wake of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

Zelensky underscored the heavy toll of the conflict, stating that 31,000 Ukrainian soldiers have lost their lives in the course of the war.

As Ukraine continues to defend its sovereignty and resist Russian aggression, Zelensky’s unwavering resolve reflects the nation’s determination to persevere through adversity and ultimately secure victory.
