NEPSE Index Records Slight Decline on Wednesday
Kathmandu, Mar 13: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index witnessed a modest decline in points during Wednesday’s trading session in the stock market.
The NEPSE index closed at 2108.72 points on Wednesday, marking a decrease of 2.48 points compared to the previous session.
Trading activities saw a total turnover of 4 billion 24 crore 85 lakh 23 thousand 332 rupees, with a total of 1 crore 8 lakh 89 thousand 634 shares exchanged among 310 companies.
Among the companies traded, the share prices of 94 companies observed an increase, while 133 companies experienced a decrease in their share prices. Additionally, the share prices of 16 companies remained unchanged, reflecting a mixed trend in the market.
Despite the slight dip in the NEPSE index, trading volumes remained active, showcasing continued investor participation and market activity.
