President Zelensky Appeals for Long-Range Weapons After Deadly Missile Attack

Kathmandu, Jun 30: Following a devastating missile attack in Ukraine that resulted in the deaths of 11 people, including two children, President Volodymyr Zelensky has renewed his call for long-range weapons.
“Our cities and people are facing Russian attacks every day, but we can overcome this problem by destroying Russian missile launchers,” Zelensky stated in a post on the social media platform Telegram. “But for this, Ukraine needs long-range weapons. Apart from this, the modern air defense system will also have to be increased.”
The attack occurred on Saturday in Vilnyansk, Zaporizhia, a remote region of Ukraine, leaving 11 civilians dead and 37 injured. In response to the attack, Zelensky has once again urged Western countries to provide long-range weapons and enhance modern air defense systems to protect Ukrainian cities and civilians from ongoing Russian aggression.
