Sunny Deol’s ‘Jat’ Eyes New Record, Races Toward ‘Gadar’ Earnings

Kathmandu, April 21: Sunny Deol’s latest film Jat continues to impress at the box office, drawing praise from fans and nearing a major milestone in his career.
The film, which features Randeep Hooda in a powerful villain role, has sparked both admiration and controversy—particularly over a now-famous scene that has stirred conversation online.
According to a report by Saknilk, Jat earned Rs 3.75 crore on its second Saturday, bringing its 10-day total collection to approximately Rs 69.4 crore. While official figures are yet to be released, the film’s strong performance puts it close to surpassing the lifetime earnings of Sunny Deol’s iconic film Gadar (Rs 76.65 crore).
If current trends continue, Jat is set to become Deol’s second-highest grossing film, following:
- Gadar 2 – Rs 525.7 crore
- Gadar – Rs 76.65 crore
