Kathmandu, December 1. The Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) has pledged to help 3,000 tourist employees who have been affected by COVID-19 the most.
According to NMA Chairperson Santabir Lama, they are delivering relief goods to financially disadvantaged tourist employees who have been disproportionately affected by the coronavirus outbreak. The aid would be supplied with the help of the Japan-based Nippon Foundation.
The Nippon Foundation agreed to support the NMA with almost Rs 25 million for relief distribution to 3,000 underprivileged workers. A complete ration package will contain rice, pulse, sugar, cooking oil, salt etc.
