US Military aircraft crashes in Norway

Kathmandu, March 19. A US military aircraft has crashed in Norway on Friday. The aircraft was taking part in a NATO exercise.

The aircraft went missing shortly after takeoff. According to Hovedredningssentral (HRS), or the Joint rescue coordination center in Northern Norway, debris of the plane was found at Gratadalen, a valley south of Bodo. The aircraft was enroute to reach Bodo.

The aircraft was taking part in the combined land, sea and air NATO exercise named as Cold Response. Furthermore, it is known as the largest Norwegian led exercise since the Cold War.
