Biden, Zelenskyy discuss support for Ukraine over phone

Kathmandu, April 1. US President Joe Biden has spoke to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy over the phone over the crisis in Ukraine on Wednesday.
The White House said from a readout of the conversation that US will be providing 500 million U.S. dollars in “direct budgetary aid”.
Further, the readout revealed that the US is working round the clock to assist in security requests by Ukraine. It also added that US and its allies are identifying additional capabilities in which they can help defend Ukraine.
The phone call between Biden and Zelenskyy lasted for an hour.
Zelenskyy revealed through Twitter that both the leaders talked regarding the negotiations and about matters of defense.
