Locals report spotting of lion in Kenya, officials find it out to be just a plastic bag
Kathmandu, May 8. Local people in Kenya reported a lion hiding in a bush. But the lion just turned out to be a plastic bag.
According to Kenya Wildlife Service, it was a plastic bag that was put inside the bushes. They have released pictures of the same.
The Kenyan Wildlife Service in Meru was informed of a lion hiding inside a hedge by the locals. When officials walked into the scene, they found out that the lion was just a lion printed plastic bag.
The agency wrote, “On arrival, KWS rangers were astonished to find out that the ‘alleged lion’ was a lion printed carrier bag.”
Further, according to reports, the viral lion bag was placed in the hedge by the homeowner to save avocado saplings from dying out. The homeowner wasn’t at the location when the officials were reported. The wildlife officials have thanked the public for informing them, even though it was a false alarm.
