Kathmandu May 31. On Tuesday morning, a refueling tanker at the Pokhara airport overturned, causing the airport to cancel all flights.

Airport Spokesperson Devraj Subedi told reporters that preparations have been made to remove the tanker using a crane.

The tanker was transporting fuel to an aircraft from the Oli Corporation depot which is located within the airport premise.

“The runway will reopen in a few hours, after we clean up the surface,” Subedi noted.
