Kathmandu, June 25. With the objective of enhancing the effectiveness of emergency rescue operations, Lamjung’s Disaster Management Committee in collaboration with national security agencies conducted a “flood-induced damage control event” in Besisahar Municipality along the Marshyangdi river corridor.
Nepali Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police provided technical rescue assistance whereas, the Nepal Red Cross Society practiced emergency first aid to the injured characters of the event.
