Jhapa Police nabs a man with 83 rounds of pistol bullets

Kathmandu, July 13. A team of Nepal Police have arrested a person in possession of 80-rounds of pistol bullets.

Jhapa based District Police Office informed reporters that 18-year old Mohammad Pyare was caught from Ward number five of Bhadrapur municipality.

On Friday night, a theft broke into a phone store “Priyanka Mobile Shop” in Bhadrapur. Raju Agrawal, the proprietor of the store reported about the theft. 29 sets of mobile phones, two watches and some cash, totalling about Rs 518,200 was solen from the shop.

Pyare was the prime suspect of the police investigation. Four days after the incident, on Tuesday, the investigative team raided the house of Pyare.

“27 sets of mobile chargers and 80 round bullets were recovered from Pyare’s house,” Police confirmed.

The police is carrying out an investigation into the incident.
