North Korea orders for firings over South’s drills

Kathmandu, December 6. North Korea’s military has ordered for firings into the sea in response to South Korea’s fire-drills in inland border region. The firings occurred for the second consecutive day.
The North fired around 130 artillery rounds into waters in its western and eastern sea boundaries. Further, an unidentified North Korean military spokesperson said the planned firings on Tuesday was a warning to the South.
South Korea’s army is conducting military exercises that began Monday and will continue throughout Wednesday. The North Korean army said they instructed for firing artillery after South Korean projectiles were detected in Cheorwon region.
North Korea has been firing dozens of missiles in demonstrations including the one launched over Japan. Moreover, one intercontinental ballistic missile system tested has potential to reach into the U.S. mainland as well.
Experts reveal North Korea expects United States to accept North Korea as a nuclear power, by negotiating through economic and security concessions.
