Beni Municipality preparing for 11 construction projects

Kathmandu, December 7. Beni Municipality in Myagdi District has announced to initiate pride projects with the government budget of 9 crore rupees.
The pride projects include:
- Construction of five road stretches
- Three drinking water projects
- Erect a building for the municipal corporation
- Build a sports ground for local youth
- A chilling (milk collection) centre for the farmers.
Engineer Bimal Ranjan Karki, who is the chief of the infrastructure section, told reporters that the municipality has signed contracts with builder companies for seven mega projects.
“Two of the construction projects have already begun. The remaining projects will get green lights after we finalize the cost estimation calculations,” he said.
In the current fiscal year of 2022-23, the municipality has allocated a total budget of 90 million nepali rupees for the pride projects.
