Foreigner Arrested at Tribhuvan International Airport with $10,000 Cash

Kathmandu, July 18 : Nepal Police have arrested a foreigner with 10,000 US dollars from Tribhuvan International Airport. A team of the Nepal Police deputed at the TIA arrested L Yaman Mohammad, a Lebanese citizen, 43, and made him public today. He was flying to Dubai from Nepal Airlines flight.

The Police Headquarters reported that Mohammad was arrested after 100 units of US dollars, in denominations of 100, were discovered in his possession during a routine inspection of his handbag at TIA.

Subsequently, he has been transferred to the Department of Revenue Investigation located in Hariharbhawan, Lalitpur, for further investigation and necessary legal proceedings.(RSS)
