Kathmandu, Jan 31: Thailand secured a comfortable eight-wicket victory over the Netherlands in the second match of the Women’s Triangular T20 International Series at Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
Chasing a target of 123, Thailand reached 125/2 in 18 overs, led by Nannapat Koncharoenkai’s unbeaten 56 off 50 balls, which included five boundaries.
Earlier, the Netherlands set a total of 122/6 in 20 overs, with captain Babette de Leede scoring 52 runs, supported by Iris Zwilling’s 28. Thailand’s Thipatcha Putthawong was the standout bowler, claiming two wickets.
Nepal will take on Thailand in the third match of the series on Saturday.
