Indian Army Chief Naravane visits areas across LAC in Ladakh

Kathmandu, December 25. Indian Army Chief MM Naravane has visited areas across the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Leh, Ladakh. The visit comes in the midst of China-India border tensions.

According to an article in Times of India, the chief was on a one-day visit to access the situation, where he met 14 Corps and examined the Rechin La Mountain pass. It is said that almost 50,000 troops of the Indian army are deployed at Ladakh at sub-zero temperatures, where the Chinese side have also deployed an equal number of troops.

He appreciated the efforts made by the formation to make troops across the LAC. He also distributed cakes and sweets on the occasion of Christmas.
