Farmer commits suicide at Delhi protest
Kathmandu. 40-year-old Punjabi farmer Amarinder Singh died during the farmers’ protest on Saturday. According to protesters, Singh claimed that he was forced to consume poison as the government denied their demands. More than 10 thousand farmers have been demonstrating outside the Indian capital, New Delhi, for more than a month now, against new farming laws
