UN demands USD 35 billion for COVID-19 vaccine

New York. Deputy Secretary-General of the UN Amina Mohammed has appealed for help for the development of corona vaccine. She said that 35 billion US dollars was required for the task.
“The entire world is in a state of emergency. We can get rid of this situation only through vaccines, for which prodigious fund is required,” she said.
In a press conference organized at the UN headquarters in New York, she emphasized on the united effort of all to end the pandemic.
She stated that In order to reinstate world order all must collaborate from their respective places. She highlighted that poor economies needed more aid and the stronger nations should show more concern towards their condition.
