Gautam Buddha Interantional Cricket Stadium receives 15 mln from Bharat Metropolitan City

Chitwan. Bharatpur Metropolitan City has provided 15 million rupees to the Dhurmus-Shuntali Foundation for the construction of the Gautam Buddha Interantional Cricket Stadium. Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City Renu Dahal handed over the cheque amounting to the sum to the foundation chair Sitaram Kattel.

Out of the allocated 40 million rupees from its internal source, the metropolitan city has provided 5 million rupees in the first phase and 15 million in the second phase. Mayor Dahal was satisfied with the rapid construction work amid the corona pandemic and informed that the remaining allocated amount will be handed over to the foundation according to the progression of the construction work.

Chair of the Dhurmus-Shuntali Foundation Sitaram Kattel received the cheque and  also requested for coordination and facilitation in other required areas, during the construction. The stadium is being constructed at ward no. 15 of Bharatpur Metropolitan City.
