National football team starts closed camp training from Thursday
Kathmandu. Nepali national football team is beginning its closed camp training from today (Thursday) ahead of its friendship match with Bangladesh.
The Nepali national team will play against the Bangladeshi national team in Bangladesh on November 13 and 17, All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) reports.
ANFA has chosen Bal Gopal Maharjan as the head coach of the national team for the Bangladesh visit in the absence of head coach of the national football team Johan Kalin, whose return from Sweden has been delayed. Nepal had played selection matches last year, in November, for FIFA Worldcup 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023. Nepal has not taken part in international matches after the one in Bhutan last November.
