Kathmandu, Dec 29 : Four communist parties including Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav)’s Communist Party Nepal, which has been banned by the government, and Baidya’s Revolutionary Maoists Party have decided to revolt against the government.

Biplav’s Communist Party Nepal, the Revolutionary Maoists (Baidya), Nepal Communist Party (N.C.P)  and Baigyanik Samajbadi Party issued a joint statement on Tuesday claiming that re-establishing the House of Representatives for holding mid-term elections would not solve the crisis.

The joint statement said, “The Constitution, which is said to have been drafted by the Constitution Assembly, has established a parliamentary system of middleman and reactionaries and has been continuously exploiting, repressing and oppressing the Nepali people and the nation developing new ways.” The government formed under the leadership of Khadga Prasad Oli from the so-called new constitution has been adding to the crisis on national independence, democracy and livelihood. We have been protesting and counteracting against the genocide, treason and corruption committed by the government. At the same time, the Oli government, which has a two-thirds majority, which is accepted in the parliamentary politics as one enough to create a stable political environment , has dissolved the parliament on December 20. We have drawn our serious attention to the recent events.”

They said that nothing can be done only by changing the government within this system, adding that the current state power should end and federal people’s republic and scientific socialism should be established.
