Health supplies donated in Okhaldhunga

Kathmandu, June 15: Former lawmaker and Nepali Congress’ youth leader Ramhari Khatiwada has given 15 oxygen cylinders and an oxygen concentrator to various health facilities at Okhaldhunga.

Ten oxygen cylinders were donated to the Rumjatar Hospital and five to Raniban Hospital. Similarly, an oxygen concentrator was handed over to Khijidemba Rural Municipality.

Leader Khatiwada said that the medical assistance would be a huge relief at a time when the number of coronavirus patients is growing in the district. He also added that he had been making efforts to supply additional essentials to the district.

Dr Kalyan Sharma and Pavan Shrestha is also said to have contributed to the supply of oxygen concentrator.

Khatiwada had earlier assisted in the medical supplies of 138 sets of PPEs, 1,00 thousands of N95 masks, 10 body bags, cartons of soaps, and gallons of liquid sanitizers. The PPEs and body bags were handed over to Nepal Army. Similarly, mask and sanitizers were provided to the Nepal Police.
