Kathmandu. Jul 15: Argentina won the Copa America by defeating Colombia 1-0 in the final match on Monday morning.
After both teams failed to score in the allotted 90 minutes, 30 minutes of extra time was played. The decisive goal of the match was scored by Lautaro Martinez in the 112th minute.
Lionel Messi, who was injured, left the field in the 67th minute.
This victory marks Argentina’s second consecutive Copa America title and their 16th overall. Argentina has won the most Copa America titles, followed by Uruguay with 15 titles.
