Kathmandu, March 13: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed support for the ceasefire talks between US and Ukrainian officials held in Saudi Arabia.
Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine has shown its commitment to peace and a ceasefire, and the next step depends on Russia’s response.
Following the talks, Ukraine ratified a 30-day ceasefire, but Russia has stated that it will only respond after receiving complete information from the US officials.
“Ukraine has made its position clear… Now Russia will have to make a decision,” Zelensky said, urging Russia to choose between peace or continued violence.
