Kathmandu, May 4: Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Maida Toru paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to discuss enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between Nepal and Japan.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the two discussed key areas of mutual interest and ways to deepen collaboration between the nations. The meeting also highlighted the upcoming 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Nepal and Japan, which will be marked next year.
Officials from Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs were present during the meeting.
