Ramechhap, April 19: One-way vehicle movement has resumed on the BP Highway after repairs were carried out on a damaged diversion caused by Roshi Khola.

According to the District Police Office, Kavre, traffic has been partially restored while repair works continue to bring the road back to full operation. The damage occurred in areas including the Ghumanel section of the Katunje–Mangaltar road.

Authorities said the road has been repeatedly affected by even normal floods, with last night’s rainfall causing fresh damage to the diversion.

Police have urged travelers to follow traffic rules and maintain discipline, advising the public to contact helplines 100 and 103 for updates on road conditions.

The disruption had affected vehicles traveling east from Kathmandu, but efforts are ongoing to ensure smoother and safer transportation along the highway.
