Kathmandu, January 23. Legendary American talk show host Larry King died Saturday morning at the age of 87, leading to an outpouring of tributes for one of America’s most prominent interviewers.

Earlier this month, Larry was diagnosed positive for COVID-19 virus. He was undergoing intensive treatment at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Larry was suffering from serious health ailments in the past few years, including a heart attack.

After hosting 6,000 episodes of CNN’s “Larry King Live” for over 25 years, Larry had retired from the screen in 2010.

Ora Media issued an official statement “For 63 years and across the platforms of radio, television and digital media, Larry’s many thousands of interviews, awards, and global acclaim stand as a testament to his unique and lasting talent as a broadcaster,”

The cause of his death is yet to be confirmed.
