Kathmandu, October 14. The Nepali team has paved its way to the final round of the SAFF Championship-2021, after drawing with Bangladesh in the final group match of the Championship, which is currently taking place in the Maldives.
Nepal drew 1-1 with Bangladesh on Wednesday’s Round Robin League match, which was limited to 10 players.
Suman Rija of Bangladesh scored the game’s first goal in the ninth minute at the Male-based National Stadium. In the 88th minute, Anjan Bista of Nepal equalized in a penalty shootout.
The Championship’s final match is planned for this Saturday.
